There are several options for adjustable control arms on the market and I didn't really want to make a competing product here. But it became necessary to make something with clearance specific to the needs of billet uprights with high offset.
Design is complete, prototypes are currently in progress.
Adjustment is through 5/8" double adjuster screws. Moving each side evenly will adjust camber, moving opposite will adjust caster.
Some testing to be done:
- Camber change per "flat" of adjustment. "Flat" refers to turning the screw by 1/6th turn. Using a sharpie to temporarily mark positions help.
- Caster change per flat.
- Caster adjustment range.
